Nina Ultra Pro Purple Xing

purchased by me

Silly name, killer polish.  A deep purple jelly packed with scattered holographic glitter which flowed smoothly onto the nail, stayed where I put it, was shiny without top coat and dried in a flash.  It reminds me of the holo glitters from Zoya's Ornate collection!

Orly Secret Society collection: Lavish Bash

purchased by me

The fourth polish I got from the Secret Society collection is Lavish Bash, a gold & holographic glitter mix in a clear base.  It's slightly thick, but packed with glitter, and can be opaque in three coats or worn as a topper with one coat.

Orly Secret Society collection: Macabre Masquerade

purchased by me

Macabre Masquerade is a beautiful royal blue glitter polish packed with rainbow holo particles in various sizes.  It's thick but easy to work with, dries quickly and is opaque in two coats.  It does need a thick top coat to smooth it out, but the result is worth it!

Orly Secret Society collection: Masked Ceremony

purchased by me

When I saw the color drop for this polish online before I bought it, I was pretty much expecting a standard black shimmer with silver glitter.  Yay, I was wrong!  Masked Ceremony is black with superfine holographic glitter and larger bits of silver glitter.  There are some small purple glitters also, but they didn't show up on my nails, boo.  The formula was very smooth and pigmented, almost but not quite a one-coater.  I used two coats for my swatches.  This does dry a little bit gritty, but a good thick top coat solves that.

Orly Secret Society collection: What's the Password?

purchased by me

For autumn this year, Orly has a gorgeous collection of glitters called Secret Society.  I grabbed four of the six, and today I'm showing you a beautiful bright copper foil/shimmer called What's the Password?  What's the Password was perfect in consistency, nearly a one-coater, shiny before top coat and a perfect fall color.  The larger shimmers are just that, bits of shimmer without any glitter texture.  All swatches are two coats without top coat.
