Cult Nails Swanbourne is a beautiful cool-toned brown with gold shimmer that shows up in bright lighting.  It looks like very good milk chocolate, and behaves as well as all Cult Nails polishes do.  Swanbourne was opaque in two smooth coats.

OPI Make Him Mine

My final and favorite polish from the mini OPI Mariah Carey Holiday set is Make Him Mine.  It's a silvery, peachy, coppery textured polish that behaves like a dream, dries quickly, is opaque in two coats and is just gorgeous.  If you only get one Liquid Sand from this collection, make it Make Him! :-)

OPI Silent Stars Go By

Silent Stars Go By is a barely peach-tinted silver textured polish from the OPI/Mariah Carey Holiday 2013 collection.  I adore it because it's a soft, warm silver with a great formula, but I hate it because it was a bear to capture on camera!  Out of twelve or so pictures I took, only one was decent. :-(  The swatch is two coats, indoors with flash.

OPI Baby Please Come Home

OPI's Holiday 2013 collection in collaboration with Mariah Carey consists of 18 shades, six of which are Liquid Sand polishes.  I got a mini set, because it had the two polishes I really, really wanted and didn't break the budget!  First up is Baby Please Come Home, a sparkly textured polish that looks pewter in low light and more purple in bright light.  The formula was well-behaved, no running around pooling at my cuticles or dragging, and it was opaque in two coats.

Glitter Daze Sunset in the City collection: Afterglow in Aspen

Afterglow in Aspen is my second Glitter Daze polish, and it's a gorgeous peach-to-teal duochrome shimmer that's lovely on its own or as a layering polish.  I used three coats alone on my index and middle fingers and one coat over black on my ring and pinkie fingers.
