Shambolic is a blackened purple jelly base with lavender and pink glitter. It needed three coats for opacity, but the glitter didn't need placing, the dry time was good and the formula was very workable. All swatches are three coats without top coat, which the polish does need to smooth it out.

Jack the Lad is a blackened forest green jelly with green and gold glitter. It was also opaque in three coats, with a not-too-thick, not-too-thin formula. It dries a bit matte and textured, but nothing terrible, and the dry time was decent. It is a very yellow-toned green. All swatches are three coats without top coat

It will be no surprise to anyone who knows me that Scuppered is my favorite of the three, since it is a copper foil with larger copper glitters. This was opaque and shiny in only two coats, and the formula was a dream. No drips, drags, bald spots, pooling or other shenanigans. Dry time was quick, but not so quick that ridges formed.

If you like sparkly holiday polishes in non-standard holiday colors, this is the set for you. The set price is a bit of a savings on the price, the quality is good and the formula on all three polishes is good, although Scuppered has a bit better opacity.
The Holiday Trio Sets are both available now at Butter London's website. On the Ulta website, there is a set called Sparkle, Sparkle Holiday, which is identical to the Holiday Glitter Trio set. I'm not sure if Ulta brick and mortar stores have the second set or not.
