MMXIV (2014) is what looks like a simple slate grey linear holographic polish. However, the grey has subtle green and blue tones in it, so the color shifts, and the holo effect is intense. It's visible both in sunlight and in lower light indoors. The formula was flawless, smooth, easy-flowing without flooding my cuticles and bottle-color in two coats. I want this beauty in every color!

At first glance, Peace is an ordinary browned purple shimmer. It has an easy to use formula which reaches bottle color in two coats and dries to a satin matte finish. But wait, there's more! It's also a multichrome with flashes of gold, green and copper!

Last but not least is Frost-Covered Berries, a gorgeous explosion of mini-glitter in silver, red, pink and white. It's a bit thick because of the sheer volume of glitter, and doesn't work particularly well as a layering polish, but it's so pretty on its own and so true to its inspiration, that it's best alone. It can be worn on its own in two coats (slathered with top coat, because it's a glitter's glitter!) or carefully layered in one.

To sum up, Brenda took three different finishes, three different palettes, and nailed them all for the second half of her Holiday 2013 polishes. If you want your own, you'll have to get them from Urban Lacquer this weekend, and I do recommend getting your own!
